![]() The history xml file there will be useful for some other plans I have and as a key to re-obtaining some files I lost in a NAS massacre The CTRL-BREAK thing will be handy for debugging too I can't believe I missed that in the docs and the hundreds of threads I've read here. Thank you for the pointer to the proper appdata location. Man, it has been a rough several weeks with no filebot - I took for granted having everything organized and plex-friendly. I'll know for next time if it ever happens again. Now I wish I'd have CTRL-BREAK'ed to see what was up before I cleared the cache. It always summarized the command line and went to flashing cursor. I can't and never could get filebot to lock right on startup before printing anything. ![]() I promise never to script-in cache clearing or even use it unless I have exhausted everything else and posted a thread for help. I'm assuming the cache was corrupted by too many unclean shutdowns, which was happening increasingly frequently until I replaced my power supply. Instead of repeating the command line and hanging, it quickly went through ignored file list and is in the input file list stage within seconds. I killed it, cleaned the cache, and now it is working. I did have a filebot instance running when I tried and failed to clean the cache. Thank you very much for the quick and thorough reply. Thank you in advance for any suggestions. Is it worth it for me to try to figure out how to install the latest PKG beta (and will it work with my license?) It works but asks me for a license key if I want to rename from the GUI. ![]() I can't figure out how to install the PKG, and tried the stand-alone GUI. I see that 4.9.8 is available from as a 圆4 PKG or portable. Could it be somewhere else or do I somehow need run get filebot to make it? This is a default install from the windows store so I didn't specify any special file or data directories.įinally, I have 4.9.6.(r2195). In fact there is no C:\Users\randy\AppData\Roaming\FileBot directory at all (nor on local or localnow). Not only is nothing else using that file, it doesn't exist. : C:\Users\randy\AppData\Roaming\FileBot\cache\0\.ehcache-diskstore.lock: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another processĪt $2.visitFile(Unknown Source)Īt .delete(Unknown Source) at (Unknown Source) * Delete C:\Users\randy\AppData\Roaming\FileBot\cache\0 (6 MB)Īn unexpected error occurred during startup: C:\Users\randy\AppData\Roaming\FileBot\cache\0\.ehcache-diskstore.lock: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process I use -filter to find extra's in a folder to rename, I believe the filter code needs to evaluate to true for it to "select" the file.Code: Select all U:\Video2>filebot -clear-cache I believe -filter uses the same effective syntax as the Format, so I expect you could query the audio/subtitle tracks for English. I *think* -filter could be used to select only the files with English Audio/Subtitles. The Format could be modified to rename (or whatever it is you want to do) only if the Audio/Subtitle contains English, and if not then effectively do nothing (, which effectively does nothing as far as I know).ģ. In a previous step you could separate out the English movies from the non-English, so they are in different locations which effectively would allow you to process the English specifically with the code you have (assuming that's the code you want to run on the English)Ģ. As I don't believe filebot can tell if a file has English Audio/Subtitle without "looking" at it, if it's acceptable to you I think at least 2 (I'm sure there are more) way's to tackle this.ġ.
